A must have Review by KR

I'll start off by saying that I really don't like small cards, so when I saw that this expansion provides you with standard sized card replacements than this was a must buy for me.

This expansion also provides you with more destination tickets as well as a new Globe Trotters Bonus card for completing the most destination tickets by the end of the game.

There are a few other added bonuses as well, however, the updated card size and the additional destination tickets were the biggest plus for me. (Posted on 4/17/12)
Ticket to Ride a little further Review by Brian

USA 1910 is a good expansion for fans of the original game. This adds routes to many of the cities that seemed to be left out in the original. The large cards are a bonus too as it is nice to have cards at full size. The variations to the rules are simply but a bonus to players that have played the original many times before.

A good expansion but the price is higher due to the fact that the regular train cards are replaced with the larger cards. If you lost a few cards from the original set this expansion is very good since it replaces all the old cards and adds new route cards.

Must purchase for TTR fans. Review by Chris

If you are fan of TTR then this is a purchase I would recommend. As a couple of other reviews have stated it really should be included now in the base game.
This expansion adds:
1) New route cards. This makes the game less predictable as it opens up lots of cities not included as destinations in the original game. The variants “Big Cities” and “Mega Game” adds that extra bit of challenge.
2) Full Sized cards. A real issue with the base game is the small size of the cards. The expansion comes with enough full-sized cards to replace the base game cards that are much easier to play with.

If you are fan of this game you need 1910.

Should Be Part of the Main Game Review by Wasgo

In all ways, Ticket to Ride USA 1910 should be part of the main game of Ticket to Ride. Both in terms of cost, and in terms of expansion, it really shouldn't be considered an expansion to the base game.

The main advantage of the expansion is the improvement of the cards from the base set, going from incredibly small ticket cards to full size playing cards. In addition, a few variations are added allowing for the base game to have a few variants, even through removing the small routes, or reducing the routes to the 1910 era.

Overall this is a must have expansion, it's just unfortunate that Days of Wonder doesn't just include this with the base game. Not a great price or value, but easily an essential part of the game. (Posted on 12/20/09)
Expensive, but Great Review by David

The 1910 expansion for Ticket to Ride is definitely something worth owning if you have the original Ticket to Ride game.

If, like me, you've played a million games of Ticket to Ride, you start to know all of the possible routes immediately and it makes blocking your opponent or knowing what they're trying to do considerably easier. And while that can be fun, it can also get old very quickly.

The best thing about the 1910 expansion is the huge number of new routes. All of a sudden you have no idea where you or your opponent are going, and the addition of many smaller routes can making tying all of your routes together into one long train considerably more challenging.

Another great thing about the expansion is that it comes with a complete new set of coloured train cards, which are bigger than the original Ticket to Ride cards, making them considerably easier to shuffle.

The only downside is the price - considering it is just new cards, it's definitely a touch on the expensive side. That said, given how many more hours of Ticket to Ride you will play with them, it's probably worth it. (Posted on 10/8/09)
