- A small game with quite a bit of strategy Review by KR

Iliad is a strategic card game in a nice little package. Throughout the game you play several sieges. In each siege you choose to either build up your army by placing cards face-up in front of you, or you use one of your army cards to destroy your opponents armies. I find that there is a tight decision on whether you want to build up your army or work to destroy your opponent's. At the end of each siege your strength points and the player with the strongest army gets a victory card.Price Value Quality
When you start a new siege you keep the remaining cards in your hand and only receive three new cards, so deciding when to call it quits on building your army is also a very important decision to make.
I find that this game is more fun with more than two players as it adds more depth and strategy. When playing with two players you don't use all of the provided cards and mechanics so the games seem more random and the player who draws the better cards will end up winning.
