In container players must achieve the most profit while selling and producing container of various good. This game is complex and deep, I would recommend it to players who don't like luck or prefer strategic dept to dices. It is also entertaining to play around with the little boats and container cubes. Container attempts and succeeds at replicating a closed economy with a specific supply chain. It's a business game dealing with supply chain management and the economy and like real business, is quite unforgiving in its nature.

This makes it a game that is quite selective in taste - either for hard core board game geeks or business geeks. With the ability to effectively ruin an economy through taking on too much debt, the game can quickly reach a downward spiral and would need a few plays to get comfortable and right.

On the other hand, because it replicates the economy and business so well, it'll be a huge draw if you can get enough interested players. Complex and interesting, Container is definitely a select cup of tea. (Posted on 3/25/09)
