- Great for Monty Python fans, boo hoo for everyone else Review by Murray

Just like any Fluxx game, this one starts the same. You only have the basic rules to start, everyone gets three cards and, on their turn, they draw 1 and play 1. There are new rules that you can play that will have players drawing more cards and playing more. It can introduce a hand limit or silly conditions like encouraging everyone to sing songs or speak with a funny fake accent. At the start of the game, there is no win objective, but people can play Goal cards and if they manage to have the Keeper cards that match the Goal cards on the table, they win.Price Value Quality
Much like one should buy a Munchkin game with a theme they like, getting a Fluxx game with a theme you like makes a big difference. Monty Python Fluxx is crammed filled with inside jokes and opportunities to show off how dedicated you are to the Flying Circus.
However, because of this, it can be quite hard for people who have no idea what British comedy is to get into this game. For those people, it may be better to play a different Fluxx game. At the same time, this can be an opportunity to run a Monty Python marathon on your TV as you play.
I personally throughly enjoy Monty Python Fluxx, but that's probably because I did a series of Monty Python sketches for Drama back in high school and have a solid couple of dozen sketches memorized in my head along with the majority of their movie scenes and the Spamalot musical. Against lesser fans, the game plays about the same as normal Fluxx, but it truly shines with other Monty Python fan club members and each game becomes as outrageous as the show. (Posted on 10/2/09)
