When i picked up fishing for terrorists, i was really excited about go fish with the ability to interact with other players hands outside of taking their cards, which is what all of the special cards in the game allow you to do. The bulk of the game is made up of members of terrorists groups which you are trying to capture. Playing essentially works like go fish "Do you have a member of the Gun toting maniacs?" and you make pairs of terrorists and hopefully groups of 4 if you are lucky.

The problem is that their is almost as many of the special cards as there is terrrorists, so making a pair is incredibly difficult, and since everyone has so many special cards that they don't know what to do with, chances are the pair that you just put down is going to get stolen or discarded anyway. After the first ten minutes of giggling about the names of the terrorist groups, the game slows down dramatically as everyone is trying to get all four of a group before they put it down to avoid the aforementioned stealing/discarding of their terrorists, and basically the game ends with most of the terrorists in the discard pile.

In short, the game a really great idea and if you pull out about half of the special cards, it makes things alot more interesting, which is what i recommend doing. (Posted on 6/27/10)
