A Game of Thrones Board Game - 2nd Edition is just fun ! If you like Risk like game it is for you. If you like alliance, backstab, treason it is for you.Quality Price Value
According to me AGOT is the perfect game for a fun boardgame night with friends. It is strategic, easy to learn and addictive.
I recommend it. The only problem is that a game can last several hours. So you better have something to drink ! (Posted on 2/14/12) - Great Review by mitch

I got this for Christmas and have played this game many times already. I feel like they did a wonderful job capturing the essence of the story. I agree with everything the previous reviewer said, fantastic. (Posted on 1/26/12)Price Value Quality - Diplomacy Advanced Review by Adam

If you enjoy turn-based back-stabbing strategy games like Diplomacy, Risk or the like you'll enjoy Game of Thrones. The game has just enough randomness built into it's otherwise very structured system by way of hidden orders and the new-to-2nd-edition inclusion of the Tide Of Battle cards to turn even a risky gamble into a potential win. It never felt like it dragged on or got dull - every round things are shifting and changing.Price Value Quality
Fans of A Song of Ice and Fire or folks new to the series will both love the fantastic production value of this game - in the usual Fantasy Flight manner all the pieces are high quality and look and feel excellent. [Note; I did have some problems with missing pieces in my set, make sure you check out all the components before you recycle your receipt!]
This game plays well with 3-5 players but really sings with a whole table of 6. Expect to play for 4 hours or so on your first outing while you learn all the rules - subsequent play gets faster and more intuitive. All-in-all a very satisfying buy! (Posted on 1/23/12)
