Titan is an amazingly awesome fantasy wargame in which you recruit fearsome creatures into your legion in order to destroy your opponents' legions and rule the lands as it's sole TITAN.

Your Titan will move around the Masterboard mustering stronger creatures from the weaker creatures that are native to that particular area. When your legion attacks or is attacked by an opponent you will reveal your creatures and move to one of the many the battle boards and duke it out using tactics ad brawn.

If you manage to survive you not only claim victory but add strength to your Titan. If at anytime your Titan is killed you are out of the game.

I love this game which on the appears as a simple roll and move, creature collecting game, but the more I play the more I discover new tactics and strategies.

That being said this can also be a long game and some players may not fancy player elimination (we normally have a filler or two to play as more players get axed.) Movement around the board is not intuitive and the rules can be fiddly when it comes to battles. Having an experienced player teaching would reduce the learning curve.

This game has been out of print for close to twenty years and I was ecstatic to here that Valley Games reprinted it. The production and design is superb. Any fan of dice chucking, trash talking, kill your neighbour type games (Ameritrashers I'm lookin' at you!) NEEDS to get Titan...NOW!!!
