This is a great light push-your-luck card game The more players (from 3-8 players) the harder to decide “ Should I stay or should I go now?” (The Clash anyone?). Do you push on further to reveal a highly valued artifact or head back and hope the others get buried with no jewels to show for. There are only 5 rounds so it will play 20 minutes tops.

The only issue I have are that the tent cards you use to hide your collected jewels must be folded or bent, which wears the cards out fairly quickly. Pre-folded or scored screens on a thicker card stock would have been a better solution. The jewels are nice plastic nuggets colour coded to reflect it’s numerical value, green=1pt, black=5pts, gold=10pts., and the cards have great illustrations and are of playing card quality.

This is a very simple and fun luck filled game that always brings out choruses of “Yays!” and “Awws” from children and adults, gamers and non-gamers alike.
