Pandemic

Pandemic is a game in my collection that gets played a lot. Being that it's a co-op game, it's great to play with people that can get a bit testy or harsh with competitive games. I'm a fan of both Pandemic and the game Forbidden Island. They are both by the same creator and share very similar gameplay mechanics. If I had to choose between Pandemic and Forbidden Island I would pick Pandemic. It's more challenging and deep than Forbidden Island and it also has more of a real-world theme/feel to it.

It seems quite balanced between losing and winning which I think is a major plus. Also, if the game becomes too easy for you than you can modify the difficulty level making is much harder to win. Every time I've played the game and won it's only been by the skin of our teeth. The game is very fun and tense and I highly recommend it.
