Fairy Tale is a light card drafting game that is great filler for groups of 3 to 5 players. Players receive 5 cards initially, and must choose one, passing their card on to the next player and choosing the next card after that. Once all cards have been chosen, players will have to decide to play 3 of the 5 cards in their hand.

With the ability to 'know' what other players have in their hand, and a guesstimate to the kind of cards they will use, play will then get vicious during this phase as each player attempts to gain as much points as possible while reducing the overall points of their opponents.

With only 4 rounds per game, each game lasts roughly between 30 - 60 minutes depending on the game group and size, making this a light tactical filler. There's sufficient depth in this game to suit most players, but its light enough to introduce to newbies too.
