Rise of Empires

Theme: In Rise of Empires, you'll guide the development of civilisations from the resources they mine to the paths of technological and philosophical development that they'll choose. You'll decide if your civilsation is warlike or peaceable, how much territory to conquer and eventually, how this civilisation will be seen in the annals of history.

Gameplay: Rise of Empires play is divided into three eras. In Rise of the Empires, each era is divided into 2 turns, with players having six different actions available each turn, with only five possible 'actions'.

However, only actions chosen on Turn A can be chosen (by removing your token) in Turn B. As such, players have to plan ahead for what they wish to do in Turn B. In addition, in Rise of the Empires, the earlier you move (i.e. your actions are used); the more you have to pay in subsequent turns.

In Rise of Empires, victory points are rewarded for building cities, having an empire, for progress in science, and for trading goods. Rise of Empires breathes new life into the civilization games genre! Balance gold and food, war and agriculture, territory and technology to forge an empire that is destined to rise above all other nations!
