Product Description
Theme : The Fishermen of Catan is a small expansion to Settlers of Catan and introduces new fishing ground hexes. This expansion can be combined with any of the other expansions.
Gameplay : The Fishermen of Catan expands the base game by replacing sea hex tiles with new 'fishing ground' tiles. The fishing ground tiles produce 'fish tokens' the same way as all other tiles produce resources. The fish tiles provided can contain one, two or three fish.
Fish may be traded in to undertake most of the actions in the game including moving the robber, drawing resource cards from player hand's or the bank or even building a street.
To add to the challenge in the game, an additional 'old shoe' token is in-play at fishing grounds, making it more difficult for a player to win the game (by increasing his victory point requirement by 1 point).
