Product Description

Theme : Shadow Hunters is a card game of bluffing, identification and combat. Players are either Shadows (vampire like creatures), Shadow Hunters or plain vanilla civilians. At the start of the game, each player's identity is hidden from the others and will only be revealed through the course of the game. Only the final player to survive will win, and to do so, you will need to identify your enemies and allies quickly.

The Most recent reprint of Shadow Hunters comes with the Expansion included.

Gameplay : In Shadow Hunters, players begin the game in one of three factions - Shadows, Hunters or Neutrals. Each character has a victory condition - often destroying the opposing faction, except for Neutrals who have varied winning conditions (including dieing first!).

Play occurs in 6 locations, each of which are grouped differently at the start of each game. As players can only attack characters in the same location, this forces a level of randomisation into the game as movement is controlled by die rolls

In addition, players may draw from one of three decks, each providing additional strength / damage; healing or protection and deduction abilities. The last deck (the green deck) help players deduce which characters are allies and opponents, creating alliances quickly into the game.

Overall, Shadow Hunters is a fast playing card game of deduction and combat that will scratch the itch of those wanting a mixture of 'Bang' and 'The Werewolves of Miller Hollow'.
