Theme : Taj Mahal is a game depicting the early 18th century for India. The 200 year-long rule of the Grand Moguls has come to an end and now, only the most powerful Maharishis can bring peace back to this sub-continent. Will the eventual ruler of the Taj Mahal be you?
Gameplay : In Taj Mahal, there are twelve turns with an auction for up to six different prizes each turn. Each turn, players will use cards to bid for various prizes. Once they win, a player can continue to bid for even more goods or simply stop. The prizes bid upon are mostly positions on the board from which points are generated for connected provinces. However, multiple routes to scoring points are available, making the game more diverse and strategically interesting. The winner at the end of the game is the player with the most points.
