Theme : In Tales of the Arabian Nights, you take on a character living in the mythical world of the 1,001 Nights (a series of stories, much like the Brother's Grimm, drawn from the lore of the Middle East). Here, you will work through a series of stories to reach your final goal, battling djinn, efreets and evil viziers.

This reprint of the popular 1984 version of the popular adventure game comes with streamlined rules, new artwork and new content.

Gameplay : Tales of the Arabian Nights is an adventure game filled with djinn, efreets, wizards, hags and viziers of all forms.

The adventures in Tales of the Arabian Nights is designed in a paragraph system, with the players to your left reading the paragraph and the choices you have. Individual choices lead to more paragraphs and potential outcomes, with characters evolving and growing through the changes that they make. As with all good fairy tales, the object is to become rich in your search and return once more to Baghdad.


In Tales of the Arabian Nights, you'll need to choose your actions carefully and the skills you possess will reward you: become beloved, wealthy, mighty - even become sultan of a great land. Choose foolishly, however, and become a beggar, or be cursed with a beast's form or become insane from terror!
