The Hobbit Board Game

Theme: The Hobbit board game is produced by Fantasy Flight Games and has players attempting to navigate their way to the Lonely Mountain and reclaim the stolen treasure of the dwarves from the dragon Smaug.

In the Hobbit, you'll need to acquire weapons, allies and items in your goal of beating Smaug; along the way encountering interesting and perilous adventures as described by Tolkien. Step into the world of Middle Earth in this great children's game.

Gameplay: The Hobbit is a children's game that uses a circular board for movement with Smaug perched in the middle. Players roll two dice each turn, choosing either to move the spaces on either of the dice or the combined number of spaces on the dice.

Spaces provide a variety of actions, from sending the Hobbits on perilous adventures to gaining help from Gandalf and finding Safe Havens to rest at or even stealing Jewels direct from Smaug.

Once all of Smaug's jewels are stolen by the hobbits, the game ends and the player with the most number of Adventure Points and Jewels wins.
