Theme : Wasabi! is a true foodie's game. Players in Wasabi are attempting to put together their series of unique sushi recipes on the dwindling space on the counter.
Can you create your own sushi recipes on the counter, working with the other ingredients of your opponents before they do so or will they complete their masterpieces in Wasabi before you do?
Gameplay: Wasabi is a light and fast board game of tile laying. Players draw ingredient tiles from their personal pantry, playing them in turn and working with the recipes placed by other players in an attempt to create their own unique recipes.
Each player has a list of unique and secret recipes, making each players goals unique in Wasabi.
In addition, completing a recipe earns you your choice of special actions from the kitchen to perform later (Chop!, Stack!, Switch!, Spicy!, and the dreaded Wasabi!) that will help you in your efforts or disrupt your opponents' carefully arranged creations-in-progress.
Completing a recipe with style will earn you bonus points, but you might not always have the time to set up such stylish maneuvers... balancing speed with technique will be crucial if you plan to win the game!
Victory in Wasabi occurs when the board is filled with ingredients. Points for completed recipes are dished out and bonuses tabulated, with the winner the most successful chef. An extremely skilled player at Wasabi might even score an instant victory by completing their quota of recipes before the board fills up
