Product Description

Theme : World of Warcraft is a faithful translation of the popular online multi-player roleplaying game to the board game universe. Travel the world of Azeroth and battle its myriad monsters as the Alliance or Horde, choosing from all the faithfully rendered races, classes and skills. You'll need to level up fast though, for you will need to defeat the might Overlord to win.

Gameplay : World of Warcraft is a multiplayer roleplaying game that combines both competitive and co-operative play. The WoW Board Game is a successful and faithful translation of the MMORPG.

In World of Warcraft, players split into two teams - the Horde and the Alliance and must both work together and individually in their respective teams in a race to be the party to beat the Overlord.

There are over 16 characters drawn from the 8 races and 9 character classes available to choose from in World of Warcraft, with multiple routes for managing and developing skills in each character.

Players can group or split up, solving quests to gain experience and level up, all the while avoiding the other sides characters as it's possible to attack the other players in World of Warcraft.

To win the game, you'll just have to be the team to be the first to beat the Overlord - but be careful, the Overlord is the end boss for a reason!

World of Warcraft the Board Game has received mixed responses from those in my gaming group. We certainly will take it out to play again, just not as often as Descent. It takes the same amount of time, but there's less interaction between players (of oppo Review by TR (Posted on 12/5/08)
