Product Description

Theme World Without End is based on Ken Follet's popular sequel to the Pillars of the Earth. Set in the 18th century England, Knightsbridge has seen the flourishing of the cathedral and the city surrounding it. However, a rivalry between the priory and merchants has emerged, throwing the city into disarray.

In Worlds Without End, you have to balance the food supply, income and prestige of your people to gain power and rise above your rivals.

Gameplay>: World Without End is a Euro game where players play across 4 rounds. In each round, six actions are chosen from the twelve available with one action discarded each time an action is chosen. Your decisions on which actions to take are affected by the event cards, the favours (prestige) you can gain and the income provided to you during the turn.

In addition, using an interesting choice mechanic, the event card dictates both the prevailing atmosphere and the income available to each player as it is oriented on the board. As such, there is an important decision to be made each turn by the active player in World Without End.

Overall, World Without End will be a great game for fans of Ken Follet and the Pillars of the Earth board game, combining role choices, hand management and income generation into a single board game.
