Scotland Yard Product Description

Theme: Scotland Yard is the classic game of deduction and movement. Players are either the Scotland Yard detectives or the elusive Mister X. You'll need to move through Central London in an attempt to find Mister X or to escape.

Gameplay: In Scotland Yard, players starting location are determined by the station cards which are shuffled and dealt out. In Scotland Yard, every move is either by taxi, underground, or bus, movement which is determined by the cards available to each player in their hands.

In Scotland Yard, Mister X moves first and writes his move in his travel log, indicating what method of transportation he used but not where he moved. Then, each detective will determine what his move is, co-operating with other detectives in an attempt to capture Mister X by moving into the same location as Mister X.

Mister X though is attempting to make 24 moves without being caught, either by hiding his movements sufficiently from the Scotland Yard detectives or getting ahead of their net repeatedly.
